The 2008 edition of this annual event featured Mexico’s greatest soprano, Florencia Tinoco, the magnificent voices of Sylvia Flores, Carlos Torres and Belinda Gomez and the unique band of Jaime Jaimes (Keyboards), Roberto Garza (Drums), Beatriz Montes (Guitar and Backing Vocals), Luis Alba (Percussionist) and Pascual Hernandez (Bass and Guitar).   The Master of Ceremonies was Channel 62 (KCRA) news anchor women Socorro Cruz. 

The band and the singers have been rehearsing for the show in the auditorium for the past 2 months and it has been a delight listening to these world class musicians and singers prepare for the show. 

As a Father’s Day gift Raul gave my wife and I front row tickets to the concert.  At the beginning of the second act Raul was announcing all the thank yous and he had just finished with the thank you to the president of Telemundo, who we were sitting next to, when Raul looked at me and gave a glowing thank you to Hothouse Rehearsal Studios.  I was blown away.  It was a huge honor and thrill to be in the front row and wave to the crowd when Raul acknowledged the Hothouse and me. 

What was really wild was there were people in the crowd that rehearse at the studio and they sought us out to say hello.
